Zambian coach, George Lwandamina has come under fire after a disastrous start to the season despite moving to the third place - and he wants to overhaul his squad.
The Young Africans have revealed that they will terminate contracts with Zimbabwean player Donald Ngoma who is long time absentee due to injury.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam Tuesday the Chairperson of registration committee, Hussein Nyika said they are waiting for the report from the club’s doctor Hussein Bavu before a final decision is made.
Other players who are sidelined due to injury are Thabani Kamusoko and Amissi Tambwe.
Earlier on Monday Yanga Secretary General, Charles Mkwasa said they will get rid of players who are nursing long injuries.
“We need to get rid of all players who have long injury, we will terminate their contract,’’ he said.
Ngoma who netted 8 goals last season, had a brilliant first season with the Jangwani giants, netting a total of 19 goals in all competition.
Yanga thrashed Njombe Mji 4-0 without Ngoma in the field with Chirwa extending his goal tally to 10 this season.
