The Flying Antelopes leading scorer has refuted claims of unrest in the team with few days to their duel with the Pride of Rivers

Enugu Rangers’ striker, Daniel Etor claims all is well in the camp of the Flying Antelopes ahead of their weekend league tie against Rivers United.

The reigning league champions have picked four points from their last four league matches but Etor reveals that they are poised to beat the Pride of Rivers this weekend.

“We do not have any problem at all and we are gearing up effort towards beating Rivers United and improving further on the league table. The game we played in Ilorin against ABS was not our best at all,” Etor told Goal.

“We have taken stock of what we did wrong and we are assuring our fans that they will see a new Rangers’ team on Sunday against Rivers United. We can’t afford not to win based on our present position on the league table.

“ABS surprised us with the way they got to us and made us uncomfortable. We went into the game thinking that we would pick at least a point but they pinned us down with a very good performance.”

On fears that Enugu Rangers could go on relegation at the end of the season, Etor says: “We know that some things have gone wrong with us this season but that doesn’t mean that we are going on relegation.

"We still have the hunger and vibe to win matches and that is what we plan to do in the remaining matches of the season to ensure that we finish in a more comfortable position on the table," he concluded.
