Alonso scored twice from Chelsea's only two shots on target at Wembley. The Spaniard opened the scoring with a perfectly-struck free kick in the first half, before drilling a shot past Hugo Lloris in the Spurs goal during the late stages of the game.

The former Manchester United midfielder completed 92 per cent of his passes as the Hornets recorded victory away at Bournemouth.

The on-loan PSG man scored the winner and made three key passes against Arsenal. Having joined Mark Hughes' side on a season-long loan, the Spaniard was thrown straight into the Potters side and repaid his new manager with a clever finish against Petr Cech. 


JAVIER HERNANDEZ | WEST HAM


Chicharito TOTW

Chicharito netted twice on his second league outing for West Ham, from just three shots (inc. blocks) overall. The former Manchester United forward took advantage of a Fraser Forster mistake to tap in for his first against Southampton, before smashing home his second from close range.
