POLL: Should Drinkwater be in England's Euro 2016 squad?

The title-winning Leicester City midfielder missed out on the final 23-man selection for this summer's tournament but should he have been included by Roy Hodgson?

Danny Drinkwater has been snubbed by Roy Hodgson and will not travel to Euro 2016 this summer, despite winning the Premier League title with Leicester City.

Instead Liverpool's Jordan Henderson, who endured an injury-hit campaign, and Arsenal's Jack Wilshere, who played in just three Premier League games, will travel to France.

The decision has been met with widespread derision on social media, with numerous Twitter users chastising the former Fulham manager for his decision.

Drinkwater was almost ever-present for Leicester throughout their fairytale campaign, making 35 Premier League appearances and scoring three goals.

The midfielder ended the campaign with a medal around his neck, but clearly did not do enough to persuade Hodgson of his abilities.

But should Drinkwater have been included? Wilshere and Henderson are experienced international campaigners, but should one of them have been cast aside? Or is Hodgson right to stick to his guns and select two players he knows he can trust?
