Peter Olayinka fires Zulte-Waregem to victory

The 21-year-old forward scored his first goal in the Belgian top flight as Essevee brushed aside the Reds on Friday

Peter Olayinka was on target in Zulte-Waregem 4-0 demolition of Standard Liege in the Belgian First Division A clash in Stade Maurice Dufrasne

Nill De Pauw scored the curtain raiser five minutes after the hour mark from Olayinka’s square pass.

Onur Kanya doubled the lead in the 70th minutes and the Nigerian registered his name on the scorer’s sheet after sending goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa to the wrong side of the net.

Kanya completed his brace from the penalty spot with six minutes before full time to seal the victory for Francky Dury’s men.

Zulte-Waregem will lock horns with Sporting Charleroi for their next game in the Belgian top-flight on August 26.
