Pedro talks up Chelsea's ten points gap at the top of the Premier League

The Blues forward is in great form for his club and spoke after a tough away game against Burnley at Turf Moor

Pedro thinks that his side still have the advantage over their rivals as they move 10 points clear after a 1-1 draw against Burnley in freezing conditions on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea had an uncomfortable afternoon against the Lancashire side and were pegged back by a Robbie Brady free-kick after Pedro and Victor Moses combined to open the scoring in the 14th minute.

Manchester City could close the gap with a win over Bournemouth on Monday night to eight points and Pedro thinks that Burnley showed the difficult nature of the Premier League against them this weekend.

"We know we have a good advantage, but this league is very difficult," He said at Turf Moor. "We want to lose as few as points as possible, step-by-step, and [try to] win the title. It will be difficult until the end, now Manchester City could be closer.

"But there are many great rivals like Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United. Now we have to think in the Cup, we have a lot of difficult opponents. We are more compact, and [that helps us to] stay at the top of the table. It is also reflected on the field."

Pedro's nine goals in the league for Chelsea already passes his total of eight last season and he believes that his team's good form under Antonio Conte is making life easier for him to make a big contribution.

"I have more minutes and the team is playing better. I'm scoring when I have the chance and that's good for me and for the team. I hope to keep doing like that. I feel good, confortable with my team-mates, with the team, physically."
