Patrick Eze scores in Konyaspor’s draw with Yeni Malatyaspor

The forward netted as the Anatolian Eagle shared the spoils with Erol Bulut’s men in the Turkish topflight encounter on Sunday

Patrick Eze was on target as Konyaspor were held 1-1 by Yeni Malatyaspor in a Turkish Super Lig encounter at Malatya İnonu Stadium.

The striker found the net in the 21st minute to hand Mustafa Resit Akcay’s side the lead.

Aytac Kara rescued a point for the home team in the 70th minute after he slotted past goalkeeper Serkan Kirintili.

Eze now has two goals this season since his move from Al Quadisiya in the summer. The Nigerian was replaced by Lebogang Manyama in the 71st minute of the clash while teammate and compatriot Imoh Ezekiel was an unused substitute.

The Anatolian Eagle will square up with Badou Ndiaye’s Galatasaray for their next league game on October 10.
