The Bucs gaffer hopes that their recent goalless draw gives his charges confidence for the two remaining league games

Orlando Pirates coach Kjell Jonevret seems to be feeling the pressure as his side's struggles continue.

Bucs are winless in three PSL matches - having played to a goalless stalemate with Bloemfontein Celtic at the Dr. Molemela Stadium last week.

“I think football is not always fair. I thought we played a good game against Celtic‚” Jonevret told Times Live.

“We created a lot of chances on a terrible pitch. We played OK football," he continued.

Bucs, who are placed 10th on the league table - three points behind eighth-placed Ajax Cape Town, have never finished outside the top eight in the PSL era.

“I hope that game gave us confidence for the two games remaining and the (Nedbank) Cup semifinals on the weekend," Jonevret added.

"Because against Celtic I thought there were a lot of players who played better than they had for a long time. We want to win of course. But OK," he continued.

Bucs will play host to Ajax at the Orlando Stadium in a must-win encounter on Wednesday.
