Omeruo grabs first Alanyaspor goal in home win

The Super Eagles defender was on target in his side's home triumph over struggling visitors in a Super Lig match on Saturday

Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo was on target as Alanyaspor secured a comprehensive 4-1 victory against Adanaspor at the Bahcesehir Okullan Arena.

It was the Super Eagles player's first goal in 16 appearances for Safet Susic's side this season since arriving loan from Chelsea last summer.

The 23-year-old defender, who lasted for the entire duration of the match scored through Georgios Tzavellas' assist after Vanger Love's opener in the first half.

Despite Magaye Gueye pulling one back for Levent Sahin's men, Junior Fernandez extended the home team's lead to 3-1 before Emre Akbaba completed the riot.

With the victory, Alanyaspor are 14th on the 18-team Super Lig log with 25 points - only five points above the relegation zone.

They will face Istanbul Basaksehir in their next game on March 5, 2017 at the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium.
