The Blues boss is delighted with the resilience that his side showed to win against their fierce rivals, despite not playing anywhere near their best

Antonio Conte was delighted with the fight shown by his side to beat Tottenham at Stamford Bridge, despite being dominated and bullied in the first half as Christian Eriksen opened the scoring.

Pedro's Hazard moment crushes Spurs

Pedro scored a stunning goal against the run of player to level matters just before half-time as Victor Moses completed the scoring to give Chelsea all three points in a hard fought game.

The Chelsea boss thinks that his side were lucky to pick up the victory as Mauricio Pochettino's men dominated the possession and chances and hailed his team for winning a game that, he thinks, they would have lost as they did against Liverpool and Arsenal before they began their current seven game winning streak.

"I think that now we are another team," Conte told a news conference after the match. "Are we Complete? Compared to the Liverpool-Arsenal [games]. for sure this, if we were the same team as against Liverpool-Arsenal, we would have lost this game.

"I am pleased because we have another type of confidence, we are working a lot and they are enjoying this type of football. They started better than us, with great intensity and with a lot of pressure when we had the ball.

"They scored a fantastic goal with a shot, then I liked a lot our reaction a lot. It wasn’t easy to react this way, with Pedro to find a fantastic finish. Pedro’s goal gave us the right confidence, after the first half we spoke.

"I always speak with my players [at half-time], I think we found together the right solution to win the game. In the second half we exploited situations that we didn’t exploit in the first half. I am pleased because when you win a derby, you must be pleased.

"But tomorrow it is important to think about the next game against City, against another strong team. We must continue to work."
