OFFICIAL: Bidvest Wits sign Anthony Gordinho, Ajax Cape Town snap up Innocent Nemukondeni

The talented midfielder has joined his older Lorenzo Gordinho of Kaizer Chiefs in the PSL

Reigning PSL champions Bidvest Wits have announced the signing of SuperSport United midfielder Anthony Gordinho.

The 21-year-old player had joined the Clever Boys on trial following his loan stint with National First Division (NFD) club University of Pretoria.

Gordinho, who scored three goals in 21 NFD games for AmaTuks last season, did enough to impress Wits head coach Gavin Hunt.

The Braamfontein-based side announced his arrival on their official Twitter account:


Meanwhile, Ajax Cape Town have also confirmed the signing of former University of Pretoria midfielder Innocent Nemukondeni.

The 25-year-old midfielder joins the Urban Warriors as a free agent having parted ways with AmaTuks at the end of last season.

A club statement read: "Innocent ‘Slyza Tsotsi’ Nemukondeni has officially joined Ajax Cape Town on a four-year deal, the club are excited to announce."

“It is such a huge pleasure and privilege to have signed, being here is a great feeling and I don’t know what say,” said Nemukondeni on the Ajax official website.

Nemukondeni made only eight appearances for AmaTuks in the NFD last season.
