Coach Bernard Mwalala's car rammed into a tractor that was ferrying sugarcane on Tuesday night

Nzoia Sugar coach Bernard Mwalala in nursing injuries after being involved in a road accident on Tuesday night.

According to a close friend and coach Boniface Ambani, Mwalala's car rammed into a tractor that was ferrying sugarcane. Ambani wrote on his facebook page, "Bernard Mwalala, Nzoia FC coach, escapes unscathed in a road accident along Bungoma, Webuye Road.

"His car rammed into a tractor at night that was ferrying sugarcane.The tractor had no reflectors nor lights. Another tricky Rd. Kijana pole saana."

Mwalala led Nzoia Sugar back to top flight in 2017 after they topped National Super League. Nzoia are currently lying at position eight on ther log after collecting eight points from six matches and will face Western Stima on Wednesday.
