NSL: Ushuru make clear intention as KCB win

Agrochemicals scored the highest number of goals from six NSL matches played over the weekend

A total of 17 goals were scored in the six National Super League matches played across the country.

At Camp Toyoyo, Administration Police defeated Agrochemicals 4-0 to move to the fourth position with 17 points. The hosts scored through Kevin Aimo , Alfred Chole , Benjamin Kahindi and Humphrey Alemba to condemn their hosts to the 16th position with just seven points.

The Ken Kenyatta led Ushuru FC came from a goal down to defeat Nakuru AllStars 3-1 at the same venue. Geoffrey Maina gave the visitors an early lead before David Amimo leveled matters. He was on target again in the second-half with Lwamba Bebeto getting the third one to send the taxmen to the third position with 18 points, two behind leaders Vihiga United.

A Patrick Okulo strike was all Vihiga United needed to defeat Police by a solitary goal at Mumias Complex. The Western Kenya-based side knew maximum points will take them to the top considering Wazito FC are scheduled to play on Monday.
