Coast based National Super League side Modern Coast Rangers have offloaded five players and signed ten new ones ahead of the 2017 season.
Among those signed is the former Western Stima striker Francis Ocholla while former Sofapaka striker Ismail Niyomzima tops the list of dropped players, after featuring for the side in the entire 2016.
The club’s secretary Ferdinand Ogot has confirmed the development to Goal stating that the new recruits were spotted during the club’s trials conducted last week. "Modern Coast Rangers wish to confirm that we have released five players ahead of this year’s season and have recruited ten new signings after the just concluded trials. For those released, we wish them all the best in their career.’’
The full list of new signings include two foreigners from the Democratic Republic of Congo namely striker Michael Ange and midfielder Edima Adard, Silas Ochieng (from Shanzu United), Suleiman Mohammed (from MOSCA), Ramadhan Kambu (from Coast Stima), Francis Ochola (from Western Stima), Athman Mzee (from Nairobi Stima), Kimea Bakari (from Bandari), Abdalla Mdeka (from Supa Matuga) and Erick Okoth (from KCB).
