KCB failed to move top of National Super League table after recording first defeat of the season against Nakuru All Stars on Wednesday.
Prior to the defeat, the bankers had gone four matches unbeaten amassing a total of ten points in the process. It was not business as usual however, on Wednesday as All Stars inflicted the pain on Leonard Saleh's charges with a solitary goal scored by Jerome Baraka.
All Stars move to fifth in the log with eleven points, one more than ninth placed KCB. Visitors Nairobi Stima forced hosts Vihiga United to a barren draw in another top match played on Wednesday.
The hosts created numerous chances but were unable to get the ball past the opponents goal line. But the point pushed the hosts to the second position with thirteen points, same as leaders GFE 105, who have a superior goal difference. Stima are 12th on nine points.
