Tusker FC coach George 'Best' Nsimbe has faulted fatigue as main reason why the brewers crushed out of Caf Champions League.

The Kenyan champions bowed out on a 3-2 aggregate defeat to Mauritius outfit St. Louis 2000. The Ugandan tactician has also insisted the players he signed are of good quality and they will be used regularly this season.

"Last season we played many games in all competitions, and players did not have enough time to rest, as a matter of fact they were fatigued. That led to our exit in the Caf Champions League; otherwise it could have been a different case. I am optimistic that we will recover,” Nzimbe told Goal.

"The players, who we signed have an important role in the team and I believe they will help us a great deal. They were signed to play, not to be benched."

The brewers are the league and GOtv Shield champions.
