'No decision until the summer, full stop' - Man City future talk irks Hart

The England international insists he remains fully focused on a season-long loan at Torino as speculation regarding his next move continues to swirl

Joe Hart is growing tired of the constant speculation regarding his Manchester City future, with no decision set to be made until the summer.

The England international was nudged out of the Etihad Stadium following the arrival of Pep Guardiola in the dugout.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss quickly decided that he wanted a ball-playing keeper as his last line of defence, with Hart considered to be wrong for that role.

Pep: Toure deserves CL recall

A season-long loan switch to Torino was sanctioned, and the 29-year-old is enjoying his time in Serie A.

He is, however, the subject of regular rounds of transfer gossip, with a permanent move away from City seemingly on the cards.

Various clubs, including Premier League title hopefuls Liverpool, have been linked with the experienced shot-stopper, but Hart insists no call on his next move will be made this season.

Quizzed again on his future by Gazzetta dello Sport, he said: “I’m contracted to Manchester City, the rest you will understand this summer, full stop. Now I’m in Torino and I think of Torino.”

Hart could have opted to stay in England last summer, but took the brave decision to spread his wings in Europe.

He considers that to have been the best move and insists it does not feel strange to be gracing the books of Torino.

City unlikely to sign in January - Pep

Hart added: “No, because being here is my life. Sometimes football is crazy, I learned this: now I find it a normal step in my career.

“I met another football perspective, different. I live well in a beautiful city, playing on a team with fantastic people and fans and every day I learn something new. Not only in football.”

Hart is contracted to City until 2019 but with Guardiola having drafted in Claudio Bravo, and being linked with other keeping options, it is looking increasingly unlikely that he will see that deal out.
