Bushiri: Njombe Mji must eliminate Stand United

Njombe Mji head coach Ally Bushiri has revealed that his side is keen to reach the last four of the Federation Cup this season.

The Njombe based side will play Stand United in a quarter final clash set for March 30.

Speaking to Goal, Bushiri said that all players want to be in the semi-final so they will put in the necessary efforts in order to achieve glory.

He added that a win in the Stand United match can help his team turn their season around and avoid the drop.

“We need to be in the semi-final, if we will win this one we can in another level in terms of confidence and we can turn our season around,” said Bushiri.

Njombe Mji sit in the bottom three on the table with 18 points in 21 games. They have only nine matches left to turn their season around and escape relegation.
