OFFICIAL: Nigeria’s Ramon Azeez joins CD Lugo

Having snubbed several offers, the 24-year-old has teamed up with the Black and Red after agreeing to a two-year-deal

Nigeria international Ramon Azeez has joined Spanish second division club, CD Lugo from Almeria and signed a contract that will keep him in the club for the next two years.

The defensive midfielder who was given an option of an extension sequel to his performance in the side snubbed several offers to agree to the deal.

Azeez scored two goals in 22 appearances for Almeria last season as they finished 15th in the Segunda division.

“Midfielder Ramon Olamilekan Azeez is a new player of the CDeportivoLugo. (We have) signed (him) for two seasons with an option for a third campaign,'' Lugo twitted.
