The Super Eagles overcame their first leg deficit to beat the Squirrels for a place in the competition billed for next year in Kenya

Nigeria defeated Benin Republic 2-0 on Saturday evening to qualify for the 2018 African Nations Championship.

Goals from Rabiu Ali and Kingsley Eduwo were all the Super Eagles needed to edge past their west Africans foes 2-1 on aggregate.
