Nice reject Swansea’s bid for Jean Micheal Seri

English trio, Arsenal, Tottenham and Swansea are to rival each other for the services of the Ivorian enforcer

Premier League side Swansea City have had their €17 million bid for Nice’s Ivorian midfielder Jean-Michael Seri rejected, according to L’Equipe.

The Welsh side are reportedly trying to sign the midfielder who is also a target of Barcelona, Roma and Arsenal, amongst others.

Roma had previously agreed personal terms with the 26-year-old but were scared away by the €40 million release clause and have since withdrawn their interest.

Seri had an incredible season last campaign as his seven goals and nine assists helped Nice to a third-place finish in Ligue 1.

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are also reported to be monitoring Seri’s situation as both are keen on the Grand-Bereby-born man.
