Neymar visits Man City star Gabriel Jesus in hospital

Barcelona star Neymar has visited Gabriel Jesus in hospital after the Manchester City striker underwent surgery on a broken metatarsal.

Pep unsure if Jesus will return this season

The former Palmeiras star has been a revelation since his move to the Premier League, scoring three times in his first three league matches.

However, he then suffered an unfortunate injury blow against Bournemouth and he had to be substituted after just 15 minutes in a game where he had once again replaced Sergio Aguero in the starting XI.

The injury was subsequently diagnosed as a broken metatarsal in the 19-year-old's right foot, with Jesus going under the knife in Barcelona on Thursday in a bid to repair the problem.

And he has since received some support from Brazil team-mate and Barca sensation Neymar, who posted on Instagram showing that he had been to visit the recovering Manchester City man.

The caption on the player's social media page read: "Good to see you are alright young man. Come back flying soon. We are together son."

Pep Guardiola has since revealed that he does not know if Jesus will be fit enough to return in the 2016-17 campaign, with the January signing expected to be out for two to three months.
