The Toon attacker may go out on loan before transfer deadline day after making his debut for the North East club last season

Newcastle United signed up Yasin Ben El-Mhanni for free after plucking him from non-league but he could leave the north east on loan with a host of clubs interested, Goal understands.

Several clubs in the Championship have enquired about a loan move for El-Mhanni, who has been compared to Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez, as well as the Turkish club Sivisspor and Dutch club FC Twente.

El-Mhanni is currently in Newcastle United's Under 23s but made two appearances for the first team last season in the FA Cup against Oxford United and Birmingham City.

Newcastle have an option to extend El-Mhanni's deal for another season but his contract only has a year left on it, alerting the likes of Everton, Brighton and Leicester City to watch his progress in case he becomes available for a cut-price fee. Napoli are also watching his situation ahead of future renewal talks.

Despite only playing in the lower levels of the English game, the 21-year-old earned fame through his YouTube skill videos and that earned him body double work for Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo in adverts.

The trickster was playing in at non-league clubs Lewes and Farnborough before going on trial at Chelsea and Newcastle, with the latter ultimately choosing to sign him up.

El-Mhanni will weigh up several options to leave Newcastle on loan before transfer deadline day.
