New AFC Leopards defender Robinson Kamura says he is happy to have joined the 13-times Kenyan Premier League champions terming the move as massive.
The central defender was playing for Mathare United until last year when his contract expired and speaking ahead of the new season, Kamura has thanked his former employers for giving him an opportunity to play and says a new challenge was important.
"Yes, I’m happy to have joined this team, many players dream of playing for AFC Leopards so to me it is a good step forward. The fan-base is also good and with it by your side it means you have no alternative but work harder because they keep you on toes.
"As a matter of fact, when playing for a bigger team it easier to be spotted by the scouts, so to me, it is a plus. It is a new challenge and I’m taking it with open hands," he told Goal.
Kamura signed a three-year contract with the Big Cats.
