Nandwa: Thika United must keep winning

Thika United coach James Nandwa is a happy man after his side managed to collect maximum points againts champions Tusker on Sunday.

Eugine Mukangula and Shami Mwinyi were on target for the milk men who won by the same margin when the two teams played each other last. Nandwa however, says there is more yet to be done by the team as he aims to steer the Thika-based side to the top.

"We played according to our plan, we knew well what we are capable of doing, remember we won last year against them. We took our chances well and did not allow them to play their game. I am happy with the outcome, and it is a motivation to us," Nandwa told Goal.

"Well, there is still a lot to be done, we need to keep on working harder and be consistent."

The team lost 3-2 against Mathare United in season opener last weekend.
