Nairobi City Stars are in mourning following the death of their youngster Manase Orao

Sad news surrounds Nairobi City Stars and Kenyan football at large following the untimely death of the club’s forward Manase Orao.

The sorrowful City Stars chairman Peter Jabuya has confirmed to Goal that the player passed away on Saturday morning after a short illness.

“It is very sad that we learnt the death of Manase Orao at around 5:00am. He fell sick while at home in early January and it is unfortunate that he has passed on.”

Manase joined the Kawangware-based outfit in June 2016 and has been listed as one of Sofapaka's acquisitions in the 2017 January transfer list; a thing Jabuya says he has no idea about. He previously played for Muhoroni Youth.
