Mutiu Adepoju salutes MultiChoice for Atletico Madrid's Nigeria visit

Lifted by the coming of the Spanish giants to Nigeria, the footballer has thumbed up the organisers for the laudable initiative

Nigeria football great and LaLiga chief Mutiu Adepoju has lauded MultiChoice for their decision to bring Europa League champions, Atletico Madrid to Nigeria.

The video entertainment giants MultiChoice Nigeria – provider of digital terrestrial platform GOtv has put all modalities in place to see the Super Eagles face Los Rojiblancos in  the maiden edition of the GOtv MAX Cup.

According to the ‘Headmaster’, the anticipated visit of Diego Simeone’s men to the country is an evidence to the pulling power of MultiChoice, when he described as Africa’s leader in providing sporting content.

“MultiChoice, SuperSport and GOtv have done well for Nigeria and Nigerian football by bringing Atletico Madrid to Nigeria,” said Adepoju.

“It shows they are keen on rewarding subscribers and putting Nigeria on the global football map, and they are also providing an opportunity for our players to be noticed by big European teams.

“They have supported Nigerian sports through the years and I’m happy they have not relented.”

The GOtv MAX Cup billed for May 22 will hold at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
