Coach William Muluya feels his team could have walked home with maximum points but wasted chances

Kariobangi Sharks were held to a barren draw by Kakamega Homeboyz at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos on Saturday.

It was a decent result for the visitors, who had a low start, but Sharks coach William Muluya feels his team could have walked home with maximum points but wasted chances and lack of incisiveness in the opening minutes led to the stalemete.

"It was a good game, we played well but were let down by several factors. First we had a slow start, it is like we were not sure at first and you could feel the tension in players. Then when we finally took control, we did not take clear chances, and that came back to haunt us," Muluya told Goal.

"It is a good point for us, we just need to rectify our undoings and play better in our next match."

The newly promoted side is currently in the fifth position with 26 points.
