Liverpool defender Joe Gomez has admitted that Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane utilise their searing pace in different ways and cannot be compared together.
The Senegal and Egypt internationals are playing a huge role in the Jurgen Klopp's team this campaign, tearing defences apart with their blazing speed.
The former Basel winger has been impressive since his arrival from Roma last summer with an outstanding 18 goals from 23 league appearances while Mane - who has had to deal with a dip in form - has notched six in 16 league games so far.
"The thing is, Sadio over three or four yards - when he stops it, shifts it and goes - you can’t stop him. They have probably got speed in different ways,” Gomez told club website.
"Mo can just keep going and maintains that speed throughout, so for the through ball it’s nice to have him on the receiving end. But Sadio is very quick as well.”
The duo will aim to fire the Reds to victory when they welcome West Bromwich Albion for their FA Cup fourth round fixture on Saturday.
Liverpool currently sit in fourth spot in the English top-flight with 47 points from 24 games.
