Following their 1-0 home victory against Mwadui FC on Tuesday, Kagera Sugar head coach Mecky Mexime has urged his players to focus in their remaining fixtures in order to ease the pressure on their relegation threats.

First half strike by Japheth Makalai was enough for Kagera Sugar to seal their fourth win of the season. This was the second win on their last five games.

Heading in the last eight of Ligi Kuu games, the Kagera based side who finished third last season, currently, sit twelfth on the table with their 22 points only two above the relegation zone.

Speaking on the post-match conference, Mexime was full of praises for his players after the win but he urged them to focus in their remaining games in order to boost their hopes of survival.

“I am satisfied with the results and performance of my players, actually they deserved it but more important at this time is to focus on the other games in order to get good results,” said Mexime.
