Mbaoma confident of Remo Stars' chances against Gombe United

The Sky Blue Stars’ skipper is confident that they are going to defeat the Desert Scorpions and revive their battle to escape the drop

Remo Stars’ captain, Victor Mbaoma expresses confidence that they will defeat Gombe United on Sunday and thus, restart their fight against relegation.

The Sagamu side are at the bottom of the league table with 19 points from 21 games and they are condemned to defeat the Desert Scorpions so as to retain hopes of survival.

And Mbaoma assures they are aware of the enormous task and are ready to get the maximum points off the visitiing Manu Garba's side.

“We are in a very critical situation but we are not discouraged at all," Mbaoma told Goal.

"We have prepared very well and we are sure of our chances of beating Gombe United to mark the restart of our fight against relegation in the topflight. We trained very hard and tried to correct some of the mistakes of the past."
