The Slum Boys have made their third signing ahead of season kick-off

Mathare United have announced the signing of immediate former Ushuru FC midfielder Roy Okal.

Okal has joined the 'Slum Boys' for two years and he is already gearing for a positive performance in the season. "Mathare United is a big club with a good history of molding young players. I feel that I can really improve my game in such an environment and so far I am impressed by the quality of training here.

Mathare United confirm second signing

"I want to be among the best midfielders at the end of the season and I am happy that the style of play suits me well. I want to emulate what Johanna and Isuza achieved during their time here," he told the club’s official facebook page.

He becomes Mathare United’s third signing after former Western Stima goalkeeper Levis Opiyo and former Nairobi Stima striker Chris Ochieng’.
