Mathare United have appointed a new physiotherapist to replace Marcel Oile

Stephen Komen is the new Mathare United physiotherapist with immediate effect.

The club has confirmed on their official facebook page that the new man will take the position of Marcel Oile who has since moved to National Super League side Wazito FC. Komen is a MYSA graduate and will be working under the guidance of team doctor Wycliffe Omom.

Okumbi meets Wanyama in London

At Wazito, Oile says he is ready for the new challenge, though he did not reveal the reason behind his move, "I am with Wazito now, it is a good team, well organized and with set targets. I really do not want to talk about it (departure from Mathare), but it is a decision I had to make," he told Goal.

The 'Slum Boys' are targeting an improved season after a 7th position finish in the previous one.
