Manchester City team news: Sane, Sterling, Silva & De Bruyne start vs West Ham

City host the Hammers in the final Premier League fixture of the weekend knowing a win will take them eight points clear of Man Utd at the top

Pep Guardiola has named his starting XI to face West Ham on Sunday, with the Catalan coach picking a hugely attacking side for the Irons' visit.

There are four changes in total from the side that beat Southampton during the week, with David Silva, Leroy Sane, Danilo and Eliaquim Mangala coming into the team.

Guardiola has decided to err on the side of caution by leaving Vincent Kompany and Fernandinho out of the game ahead of the Manchester derby, with both players one yellow card away from suspension.

Mangala joins Nicolas Otamendi, Danilo and Kyle Walker in defence, with Silva flanked by Fabian Delph and Kevin de Bruyne in midfield.

Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane will feature either side of Sergio Aguero in attack.

Meanwhile, Pablo Zabaleta dons the captain's armband for the Hammers as he returns to his former club.
