Manchester United’s Paul Pogba has taken the opportunity to trade shirts with Serge Ibaka, despite the NBA star previously hinting at being a City fan.

The France international midfielder is still enjoying his summer break, with video emerging of him holidaying with several other famous faces.

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, who has been heavily linked with a move to United, has been pictured with Pogba in America, with Manchester City’s Leroy Sane also in attendance.

Toronto Raptors forward Ibaka is among the party as well, with the 27-year-old Congolese snapped swapping his number nine jersey for Pogba’s number six shirt.

While happy to don the red of United while in Pogba’s presence, Ibaka has admitted to having closer ties with City in the past.

In July 2013, he took in a visit to the Etihad Stadium and was presented with a customised jersey.

He told reporters at the time: “My favourite City player is Yaya Toure.

“He played for Barcelona while I was out there and he’s a fantastic player. It’s always good to see him do well.”

A few months later, after taking part in a pre-season game in Manchester, Ibaka added: “When I was in Manchester over the summer I got to have a look around Manchester City’s stadium and the facilities are incredible. I’ve been keeping an eye out for them ever since.

“It was great to see them beat Manchester United 4-1. What a win!”
