The injured midfielder showed that he gets just as frustrated playing Ultimate Team as everyone else with an angry Twitter update

Sometimes it's easy to remember footballers are people too. They're just like the rest of us, watching bad movies and playing computer games in their free time.

Since being ruled out for the season with a anterior cruciate ligament injury, Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has a lot of time to waste on such trivalities.

FIFA gamer fined for gambling offences

Anyone who has played FIFA 17 will know the frustration of a result not going your way, and Gundogan has taken to Twitter to vent his anger about his gaming disappointments.

The Germany international posted an update which was well-received by his thousands of followers, writing "That moment when you play FIFA Ultimate Team after a long while and you are so close to smash the TV."

Gundogan replied to many of the people who Tweeted him back, including popular Ultimate Team website FUTwiz, who showed graphic proof of their FIFA rage.

Gundogan's basic Ultimate Team card is currently valued at 13,000 to 21,000 coins for an 85 rated central midfielder.
