Maluleka relaxed over his Kaizer Chiefs future

Maluleka's current deal with Amakhosi is coming to an end in June this year, but he's confident he will reach an agreement with his employers soon

George Maluleka has insisted that he is not worried about his Kaizer Chiefs despite having already entered the final six months of his current contract. 

In a chat with Goal, the midfielder revealed that he's still in talks with the club over his future. 

Maluleka also confirmed that Amakhosi are the only team he's speaking to right now. 

Chiefs released a statement at the end of January, making their intentions clear that they wanted to keep Maluleka for the foreseeable future.

The player has been with the Glamour Boys for three full years, and during this period, he has won a few important trophies, including the league title in 2015 . 

"We're still negotiating. I am not speaking to anyone else. I am a Chiefs player. I'm still contracted. So, no stress," Maluleka told Goal.

The 28-year-old has been heavily involved this season with 15 appearances and three assists to his name in all competitions under the tutelage of Steve Komphela.
