Gabon international, Malick Evouna has joined Turkish top-flight side, Konyaspor on loan from Chinese outfit, Tianjin Teda.
The Anatolian Eagle have an option of making the forme Al Ahly player’s stay in Konya Buyuksehir Stadium permanent.
The forward who will link up with his African compatriots; Nigeria’s Imoh Ezekiel, Ivory Coast’s Moryké Fofana, Burkina Faso’s Abdou Traoré, DR Congo’s Wilfred Moke is ready for the new challenge.
"First I would like to thank my president and my managers for their trust in me,” Evouna told the club’s website.
“We can see that Konyaspor has grown up as a club in terms of brand value in recent years and I want to make very serious contributions to it.
“I did a little training with my team. But I already did my own work. I'm 65-70 percent (ready) now. Of course, joining is a different thing, but both the beauty of the city and the beauty of the facilities will make improvements in terms of conditioning, I feel much more comfortable here.”
The attacker will be expected to make his debut when they welcome Genclerbirligi to Konya Buyuksehir Stadium on Monday's Super Lig clash.
