Xulu had a difficult start to his career at Naturena, and his situation hasn't improved under Komphela. However he remains committed to Amakhosi

Goal has gathered that Siyanda Xulu rejected several offers from Major League Soccer (MLS) in America in order to stay put at Kaizer Chiefs for the foreseeable future.

The 25-year-old is in his second season with Amakhosi, but hasn't been able to cement his place in their starting line-up.

According to a source close to the player, the KwaMashu-born star was presented with a chance to move to America during the January transfer window.

However, he didn't feel the offers were good enough for him to leave the Glamour Boys.

"Xulu had offers from MLS, and he could have easily went there if he wanted to leave Chiefs, but the offers weren't enticing enough for him," the source told Goal

"So, he turned them down. He is confident that his chance will come at Chiefs," the source added.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns defender has made a single start for Chiefs this season, and continues to play second fiddle to the likes of Eric Mathoho, Lorenzo Gordinho and Daniel Cardoso.

His agent, Paul Mitchell, confirmed to Goal earlier this year that Xulu had no intention to part ways with the Soweto giants.
