Mohamed Salah has won the PFA Player of the Month award for March.

The Liverpool forward scored six Premier League goals during the month in consideration, including four against Watford at Anfield.

Salah has now nicked the prize four times this season after scooping it in November, December and February.

The former Roma player secured 80% of votes cast in an online poll to beat off competitions from Tottenham Hotspur trio Dele Alli, Heung-Min Son and Jan Vertonghen, including Manchester City pair Leroy Sane and David Silva.

The former Chelsea player has scored 29 goals in the English top-flight this season since joining in the summer.

Salah did not feature in Saturday's goalless stalemate against Everton following the injury he picked against Manchester City in the Reds' Champions League quarter-final victory in midweek.

However, he will be hoping to return to action for the second leg at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.
