Lipreaders reveal Cristiano Ronaldo's Valencia tirade

The Portuguese attacker is thought to have been involved in a verbal post-match scuffle with a team-mate following the defeat

There may be more than just a bad result to get over within the Real Madrid dressing room as Cristiano Ronaldo was caught on camera venting his anger at an unknown team-mate after the 2-1 loss at Valencia.

Madrid's Mestalla curse strikes again

The Portugal captain nodded home a fine header in the clash at Mestalla, but it was not enough as the home side's victory through goals from Simone Zaza and Fabian Orellana blew the Liga race wide open.

In the wake of the defeat, Spanish channel Cuatro put lipreaders to work and caught the attacker mouthing “I scored a goal, what did you do?” as he made his way to the tunnel, though the station could not determine which fellow team-mate his anger was aimed at.

Emotions ran high as Los Blancos spurned their chance to go further clear at the top of the Primera Division, but fans will hope their star scorer and his team-mates will deal with the matter as professionals rather than slinging blame as they look to improve on their one-point lead over Barcelona at the head of the table.
