‎Jorge Sampaoli has opted to field his biggest stars for November’s friendly against the Super Eagles in Russia

Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Angel Di Maria are among the big names to feature for Argentina when they face Nigeria in next month’s friendly game.

The Super Eagles will face the South Americans at Krasnodar Stadium on Tuesday, November 14 – two days after their World Cup qualifier against Algeria.

Matias Kranevitter and Diego Perotti were coach Jorge Sampaoli’s surprise choices while leaving out Gonzalo Higuain out of his team.

La Albiceleste who booked their place in Russia next summer with a 3-1 win against Ecuador will face Russia on November 10 before facing the three-time African kings four days later.

The game marks the first meeting between the two sides since Argentina’s 3-2 win at Estádio Beira-Rio, Porto Alegre on June 25, 2014.
