Wolves sign Leo Bonatini on a season-long loan from Al Hilal.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have strengthened their attack by signing Leo Bonatini on a season-long loan from Al Hilal.

The 23-year-old striker scored 15 goals for the Saudi Arabian club last season after joining from Portuguese side Estoril.

"It is a big club and is also famous in Brazil, and I am very excited to play here," he told the club's official website.

Arabian Gulf League remains top in AFC rankings

The Brazilian signs for the Championship team having spent time with Juventus in the past and featuring for the U-17 national side.

"It is a dream to play in the Championship but even more in the Premier League and we can put our names in the history of this club if we achieve it.

"Big players have come here because of the project and we want to go to the Premier League, although we know how hard that will be."

“I have played in other countries already and the experience I had in Saudi Arabia was very good. The staff here are already trying to help me with everything and I am sure it will go well."

Bonatini is Wolves' 11th signing ahead of the new season which begins on Saturday.
