AFC Leopards fans were expecting to see their midfield maestro Allan Kateregga take the pitch against Western Stima on Saturday.

The creative midfielder, who can also play in either wing, has been out of action for one month following a nasty ankle injury accumulated in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, during the Super Cup competition. Despite making a return to training this week, Kateregga says he will not be involved against the power men.

"Yes, I have been training this week, giving my best but returning from injury and getting match fitness are two different things. My ankle has healed, I feel okay now, but in terms of match fitness, no, I am not ready but it is just a matter of time. Some things you have to work harder to attain," the Ugandan told Goal on Friday.

"The match against Western Stima is definitely going to be tough but I have faith that we will get the three points."

AFC Leopards will be seeking to revenge against the powermen having lost three times last season when they met.
