Ulinzi Stars have released winger Baron Oketch after only six months on loan.

Oketch joined the soldiers from Gor Mahia for a period of one year beginning in January. The club have confirmed through their official portal that they have released the player and wished him well. "Ulinzi Stars would like to confirm that winger Baron Oketch has left the club after six months.

"Oketch was on loan at Ulinzi for a period of one year beginning January, but made a formal request to return to his parent club when the June transfer window opened. He wrote to us expressing his interest to cut short the loan and as a club we agreed to his request because he is owned by Gor Mahia. We thank him for his services in the six months he has been with us and we wish him all the best in his future endevours."

Reports have emerged that Oketch could sign for Bandari before the end of June transfer window.
