Despite winning six matches in row and moving joint top of Kenyan Premier League table, Tusker FC are keen on signing several players in current transfer window.
The eleven times Kenyan champions are back home from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where they were knocked out of the on going Super Cup by Yanga. Assistant coach Francis Baraza says the team will add a few players to help the brewers successfully defend the title.
"We will sign two or three players this month. Remember we lost Shafik Batambuze and we have to replace him with another quality player. It is the only way we can maintain the quality at the back; we are also aiming at registering two more players in the attacking department," Baraza told Goal.
"The season has been well, but after the break it will be tougher and we have to make sure we are equipped enough to stand the storm."
The brewers have 27 points from 13 league matches.
