Asieche has signed a two year contract to ditch Sharks for Batoto ba Mungu ahead of the new season kick-off. “We have finalized everything and I am now a Sofapaka player. They wanted my services and went ahead to pay for the remainder of my contract at Sharks and I thought it was a good club to join.
“It feels great to be back where I started my career in the top league. I have penned a two year contract and will be looking forward to help the team challenge for top honours this season," Asieche told Goal.
Asieche also played for KCB before joining Sofapaka. He becomes the third player to sign for Batoto ba Mungu after Stephen Waruru from Ulinzi Stars and Kepha Aswani of Nakumatt.
