Sofapaka have released a number of players among them former Gor Mahia ace Moses Odhiambo.

Goal understands coach Sam Ssimbe is working on building a new team as they strive to win the title this season. Other players released are Jaffar Gichuki, Pate Wanok, James Kasibante, Johnson Bagoole, Mathias Kigonya, Collins Kisuya and Edgar Waundo.

Batoto ba Mungu have already signed three Ugandans and raided Chemelil Sugar for veteran Hillary Echesa. President Elly Kalekwa is confident that they will remain title contenders this season.
