A close friend to Wanga also confirmed to Goal that the former Azam striker is also headed to Homeboyz. “Wanga is weighing up his options well. The County Government of Kakamega have tabled a very lucrative job for him and he is keen to take it up. He also wants to sign for Homeboyz.”

Homeboyz have already signed Noah Wafula, who like Wanga, was released by Tusker. “We have signed Wafula on a two year contract. We struggled last season to score goals and that is why we have moved for his services.”
