Francis Kahata has extended his stay at Gor Mahia for another two years, Goal can reveal.
Kahata has agreed to stay at the former champions after holding talks with the club's top officials on Wednesday. K'Ogalo CEO Omondi Aduda confirmed the latest news on Thursday, "Francis Kahata as agreed to pen a two year deal and will be part of Gor Mahia family for the next two seasons.
"It was one of the transfers that we wanted sorted out as quickly as possible and focus our energy on upcoming matches."
Kahata has also played for Thika United in the Kenyan Premier League and turned out for the national team Harambee Stars. Gor Mahia havs also sealed the signing of Boniface Omondi from Nzoia Sugar. Aduda said, "We have secured the release letter for Omondi and he joins Gor Mahia family on a three year deal. We welcome him to the team."
Omondi was top scorer at Nzoia Sugar after the end of first leg of Kenyan Premier League.
